#brotherhood beginnings
Socorro Moreland
Trans-masculine black people are disproportionately affected by abuse, violence, misogyny, poor health outcomes and neglect when it comes to ACCESS. Everyday life for those who aren’t transgender and black are way different from those whom can safely access resources.
Trans-masculine black individuals navigate everyday life differently. Many within this specific community encounter different experiences and perspectives on what their transitions mean to them. Many people have to navigate their lives perfecting who they appear to be in order to survive and maintain their safety within communities they’re from or where they travel to.
#brotherhood was created by Socorro Moreland to empower black trans-masculine individuals to live their best lives within their personal transition.
